Oh Lord, When I have Food, Help me to remember the Hungry.
When I have work, Help me to remember the Jobless.
When I have a home, Help me remember the Homeless.
When I am without pain, Help me remember the ill.
Destroy my complacency.
Awaken my commpassion.
Allow me to share joyfully,
And allow me to see in the needy
The face of the face of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
May I always be mindful that all that I have comes from You My Gracious and Loving God. Amen

Prayer for direction
Lord God, it is not clear to me how I should spend my life. It is not clear to me whe way I should go. I am comfused.
So many attractive things hold out empty promises for happiness. Help me to know your will for me, and give me the courage
to follow. May i know the true joys that are only found in he giving of my life for others. Amen
